Ear wax is the #1 problem for any hearing aid regardless of price or design. Please be sure to review your user's manual or watch quick-start DVD including with your device for proper cleaning and wax removal. Also, ensure that you fully open the battey door each night after use. this will allow the device release any moisture and conserve battery use. - Inspect the polytube for blockage every day.
- Remove tube from device before using the cleaning tool.
- Check to ensure battery is correctly installed in the device.
- Are you using a fresh battery?
- Conduct a sound test to determine if battery is good. Refer to User's Manual for instructions.

- Inspect NoWax filter inserted into tip of device for wax blockage.
- Change filter if blockage is visible. This can completely block any sounds going to your ear. Refer to User's Manual for proper instructions.

- Cycle through the memories using the Memory button (digital devices) or check the volume control if your device is equipped with one.
What’s that “beeping noise”?
If you have a digital device it is equipped with a Low Battery Warning system. The device will emit a beep (unrelated to a memory change beep) when the battery is low on power. If the battery is not changed soon after the warning beep, the device will shut off.
How long will a battery last?
Depending on the amount of daily use, device model, and volume level, a battery could last from 100-200 hours. Be sure to open the battery door each night after use to extend battery life.
